Fix The Connection offers two methods of paying for your behavioral therapy services: Private Pay and Medicaid.
Private pay is just that. You hire me for the type of services you would like to utilize and we make a plan together for how to make your dollars stretch the farthest. No middle man, no insurance, just you deciding what you want and me doing my best to deliver it.
Medicaid is a bit trickier, but can be a great option for you if you are willing to be in the Medicaid system. In Idaho, the Department of Health and Welfare has a new children’s program, Family-Directed Services, in which your child is given a budget for the year and you direct how those funds are spent. Under this program, families negotiate a contract with the therapist(s) of their choosing. This program allows parents to be in control of who is working with their child and what they are working on. The parent, not the agency, makes all the therapy decisions. If you would like more information about this new option, look at the brochure and here is the budget. By using this option, families will be able to purchase more therapy hours because I charge less than an agency does.
